It has been a whirlwind few days in the NHL with the trade deadline coming to pass on Friday afternoon. Contenders are adding key pieces in droves, which shakes things up in the NHL futures market as the home stretch of the regular season begins.

The biggest move of deadline week was arguably Carolina's addition of Jake Guentzel, giving the team another much-needed offensive creator. They also made a move for Evgeny Kuznetsov to add more forward depth to surround plenty of impact pieces.

The rich got richer in Florida, as one of the NHL's already deepest and most talented teams added further forward help by acquiring Vladimir Tarasenko and Kyle Okposo.

Right at the deadline buzzer, the Knights added forward Tomas Hertl in a big move that should bolster one of their top forward lines.
